America’s country music sweetheart Carrie Underwood rocked the red carpet at the 2016 American Country Countdown Awards. Underwood was nominated for two awards: “Female Vocalist of the Year” and “Album of the Year” for “Storyteller” and won “Female Vocalist of the Year.”
In 2005, the 33-year-old singer, songwriter gained her fame as the winner of the fourth season of American Idol. Since then, her career has only sky rocked. Underwood has won various awards such as: 7 Grammy Awards, 17 Billboard Music Awards, 12 Academy of Country Music Awards and 9 American Music Awards. As of yesterday’s win on May 1, 2016 she adds another award to her vast collection.

Underwood managed to tame her flirty waves by sporting the nude blonde trend for this spring while keeping her makeup fresh with a pop of pink coral lips. However, all eye were on her stunning printed, cutout sheer white dress from the Indian-based design duo Gauri & Nainika.
