The vibrant 27-year-old actress, Elizabeth Olsen is our It Girl of the moment. Olsen is well known for her role as Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch from the Marvel series of Captain America. The modern muse is bold, witty and chic. The California native started acting at a young age and has been nominated for variety film awards such as: BAFTA Rising Star Award, Teen Choice Awards Choice Movie: Breakout Star. As the younger sister of Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen, acting, fashion and beauty runs within their family. From biograhpy.com, Olsen stated, ”I’ve been training in theater and dance since I was a kid, so being in front of a camera was really the most frightening thing,….I hope I will be able to do stage and film work—I really love it all.”

Why is she our It Girl of the Moment? Because she’s got the confidence to go 110% in everything she does. Her acting career kicked off in 2011 when she landed the lead role as Martha for the film Martha Marcy May Marlene. From biograhpy.com, Olsen stated that she liked the project because ”the audience takes the point of view of my character, Martha. They will see what’s the present and what’s the past through flashbacks. So what happened to her [in a cult] is slowly revealed, but what’s happening in the present is for the audience to decide whether it’s real or whether it’s a paranoia.”
Unlike her older sisters who like to stay out of the limelight and have their energy in fashion as designers, this Olsen loves the red carpet and Hollywood scene. Although she loves the hollywood scene she strays away from all social media platform, so this Olsen has no Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. According to an interview with Fashion Magazine Olsen stated, “I don’t [use] social media, and I feel like that’s how people control their image. My image, in my mind, is just to disappear. I just want people to see the work that I’m proud of.”
