The British actress, Emilia Clarke is our It Girl of the moment. Clarke is well known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen aka Mother of Dragons from HBO’s Game of Thrones. The modern muse is bold on screen and off screen. Born and raised England, this actress currently resides in London and Los Angeles. Clarke embodies the perfect It Girl because she’s strong, fierce and knows how to crack a joke or two. With over 5.4 million followers on Instagram and growing, Clarke has become the master of hashtags. Since Game of Thrones, Clarke has done a variety of films like Terminator Genisys in 2015, she played Sarah Connor and Clarke had the honor to work side by side with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Recently in 2016, the style star played Lou Clark in Me Before You. On set Clarke worked with high profiling actors like: Sam Claflin, Janet McTeer and Charles Dance.

During her interview with NYTimes, Clarke talks about her character as Lou Clark, “She may be innocent, but she’s strong. Lou is a badass in her own right, absolutely. There’s a beautiful arc that happens, and it isn’t dragons and killing zombies, but it’s having the courage to be brave within her world, which is stepping outside her comfort zone, realizing her potential.” What makes this it girl unique is that within her acting career, she can relate to all of the characters she plays and emulate strength.
