Bonjour à tous! It’s that time of the year again, yes the 69th annual Cannes Film Festival is here and it is currently being held from May 11- 22 2016 in Southern France. According to the Cannes Film Festival, their mission “has remained faithful to its founding purpose: to draw attention to and raise the profile of films with the aim of contributing towards the development of cinema, boosting the film industry worldwide and celebrating cinema at an international level.”
Our favorite looks so far are from these high-profiled actresses like: Julia Roberts, Blake Lively and Jessica Chastain. At the Money Monster premiere, Roberts is seen wearing a black off- shoulders pleated chiffon gown from Armani Privé and Chopard jewelry making quite the statement. However, what really got the press buzzing was what she wore on her feet, nothing! This bold actress went barefoot!
While the sparking actress, Chastian wore a beige Alexander McQueen Surreal Diamanté Hand-Embroidered Tulle Gown and luxurious swiss jewelry from Piaget. Chastian gives off a 1920 vibe with her glittery black eye shadow and soft curls.
We save the best for last, with baby number two on the way, Lively manages to still look stunning at the Slack Bay premiere. Lively is seen in an light blue ball gown from Vivienne Westwood that has a Disney princesses Cinderella inspired look. With Lively’s sultry blonde locks in a high chignon and an elegant thin white headband, her look definitely screams elegance.
